S. MAGESH
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
S. Magesh from Kanchipuram, India, was elected to serve a two-year term as an international
director of Lions International at the association’s 106th International Convention in Melbourne,
Australia, June 21 through June 25, 2024.
Director Magesh has 30 years of experience in the retail trading and banking industry. He is
currently a partner at S.R.S. Group of Companies.
A member of the Lions Club of Kancheepuram Temple City, Director Magesh enjoys serving his
community and the fellowship being a Lion offers.
He has held several offices within the association, including club president, club treasurer,
district governor, vice district governor, region chairperson, zone chairperson, LCIF vice area
leader and multiple district Global Membership Team coordinator.
In recognition of his service to the association, Director Magesh has received numerous awards
including the Excellent President Award, Excellent Region Chairperson Award, International
President’s Appreciation Certificate, International President’s Leadership Medal and the
International President’s Medal. He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lion activities, Director Magesh has served as a faculty member for the Faculty
Development Institute, Regional Lions Leadership Institute, Advanced Lions Leadership
Institute and Vice District Governor Schooling. He is also the president of the Kanchipuram
Chess Academy.
Director Magesh and his wife of 30 years, Thenmozhi Magesh, also a Lion, have two children
and three grandchildren.
