PRINCESS BRIDGET ADETOPE TYCHUS
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR

Princess Bridget A. Tychus from Lagos, Nigeria, was elected to serve a two-year term as an
international director of Lions International at the association’s 106th International Convention
in Melbourne, Australia, June 21 through June 25, 2024.

As an accomplished executive leader, Director Tychus has collaborated with media, government,
corporate businesses and community leaders to deliver value to various industries, especially in
the oil and gas and not-for-profit ecosystem. In her current role, Director Tychus serves on the
board of directors at Apex Tech Incorporated, where she focuses on organization strategic
planning, emerging market penetration, and leadership training and orientation. Along with her
notable career, Director Tychus is a world traveler, prolific reader, and holds the highest
honorific award as a Knight of John Wesley, Methodist Church Nigeria.

Director Tychus began her journey with Lions International as a member of the Satellite Central
Lioness Club in 1983. She is currently a member of the Lagos Ikeja Viva Lamour Lions Club,
where she’s been serving since 2011.

Throughout her tenure with Lions International, Director Tychus has held several positions
including club president, council chairperson, Nigerian Lions’ Charity Foundation Chairman,
Board of Trustees Member, LCIF Campaign Sight First coordinator, Global Action Team/Global
Service Team area leader and Global Membership Team area leader and Lions International
Certified Instructor (LCIP). She has also hosted the first leadership institute in Nigeria in 2003-
2004. Director Tychus is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.

In recognition of her service to the association, Director Tychus has received numerous awards,
including the Club President Award, Best Club Secretary Award, Zone/Region Chairperson
Award, International President’s Award, Membership Growth Award and 100% District
Governor’s Award, among many others.

Director Tychus and her husband, Past Zone Chair Sir Adesina Tychus, got married Dec. 1977,
and have three children, their spouses, and nine grandchildren.
