Two Diamond PMJF, JP Singh was elected as International Director for 2018-20 at
the 101st International Convention held at Las Vegas, USA, his Tenure was
extended by one-year upto 2021, He is serving as Vice Chairperson of Constitution
and By Laws Committee in International Board of Directors.
J.P. Singh born in Ludhiana on 16th October 1962, came into the stream of Lionism
in 1989 and is a Charter member of Lions Club New Delhi South since 1992. He
was unanimously elected as Vice District Governor (2003-04) and District
Governor (2004-05) of District 321-A2. He is the only Governor till date in the
District to have been elected VDG & DG with 100% positive votes.
He has been decorated with13 International President’s Medals and 2 Leadership
Medals, 19 Presidential Certificates by various International Presidents. He has
attended 15 International Conventions and 19 Area Forums so far. He has
extended 29 New Clubs and have sponsored 60 members so far.
He was instrumental in planning & establishing District 321-A2 Lions Blood Bank at
Shalimar Bagh, Delhi & was the motivating force in raising over Rs. 1 crore from
Lions & LCIF for this signature project. He is the founder General Secretary of the
Blood Bank’s Managing Committee & has taken the Blood Bank to top in NCR
Delhi. In the last 14 years LBB has collected appox. 3,50,000 blood units A Lions
Dialysis Centre is also working in the same place now. He worked hard to open
another Branch of Lions Blood Bank in East Delhi in 2015 which is working
excellently. He is a Trained Faculty (FDI Graduate) from Lions Clubs International
Leadership Development has always been a passion for him.
He was appointed as Multiple District Leadership Chairperson MD 321 for 2008-
2011. He served as GLT MD 321 Co-coordinator, for 2011-14 and served as GLT
Area Leader for MD 321 & 305 (Pakistan) for 2014-17 & has been a faculty at
Various Training programs of various Districts and is involved in all India DG/VDG
training continuously every year from 2008-2018.
He organized the India Advocacy Day with Govt. of India for two years in a Row. He
has been elected as Chairperson, LCOI (Lions Coordination Committee of India for
the year 2019-20.His tenure was extended by one year up to 2021. He is LCIF Area
Leader for MD 321. He is also running a Charitable Trust in the memory of his late
mother name to educate the meritorious poor children in Delhi Schools. He is also a
member of Delhi District Cricket Association & is Vice President of All India
Veteran’s Hockey association.
Currently he owns two E Commerce firms, “Tale Whale”, and The Frontier
collections and is running an event management company called Frontier Events
and Weddings.
His life partner Simmi Singh, MJF, lends immense support in all his endeavors. He
is blessed with daughter Naina and son Harkunwar Singh who are both happily
married and a Granddaughter named “Mikaya” and a Grandson named “Noraab
Singh”.
