A member of Lions Club of Madurai Palace since 1983. Lion M.
Nagarajan has held many offices within the association, including
Club President, Zone Chairman and Deputy District Governor. He was
the first District Governor of District 324 B3 (1990-91).
He served as the Director in the Board of Lions Clubs International
during 1999 2001.
In addition, he has served as Multiple District Membership Chairman
of MD 324 during 1992-96. In 2000-2001, he was Chairman of the
Lions Coordination Committee of India and Project Chairman of
SightFirst 741 & 742. He also represented the Board in LCIF
Executive Committee and in Membership Development Committee.
He is the GMT Area Leader for MD 316 & 324.
In recognition of his services to the Association, Lion M. Nagarajan
has received numerous Awards, including the Best President Award,
Best Deputy District Governor Award, the 100% District Governor
Award, a Senior Master Key Award, a Leadership Award and
Ambassador of Goodwill Award. He is also a Progressive Melvin
Jones Fellow with 11 Diamonds.
He possesses M. Pharm., and MBA Degree, Lion Nagarajan is active
in many professional and community organizations. He is the
Chairman of a Post Graduate Pharmacy College and has a Fellow of
the Indian Institute of Chemistry. Also, served as Senate Member for
25 years and Syndicate Member for 3 years in Taminladu Dr. MGR
Medical University, Chennai.
Lion M. Nagarajan is a Chairman and Managing Director of a textile
spinning mill and director in many industries.
