In a heartwarming gesture, the Lions Club of District 324D organized a first-of-its-kind picnic program for orphan children. This remarkable event, held at Kovai Kondattam on February 25th, 2023, aimed to bring joy, laughter, and cherished memories to the lives of 120 children from various orphan homes. With the belief that extending a helping hand holds more value than prayers alone, the Lions Club exemplified the spirit of compassion and community support.
Inauguration and Warm Welcome:
The esteemed PMJF Lion Dr. N Shanmuga Sundaram, the SVDG of the club, inaugurated the program. The event was graced by the presence of MJF Ln R Dinakaran, the GST of the district. After a wholesome breakfast, the children from four orphan homes, namely The Seva Alayam, Lml Children's Home for Girls, Sadguru Seva Ashram, and Imayam Ladies Welfare Association, eagerly participated in the picnic.

The entire day was filled with excitement as the children immersed themselves in the delightful atmosphere of Kovai Kondattam. They partook in various activities, games, and attractions, which brought smiles to their faces and filled their hearts with joy. The children expressed their gratitude towards the organizers and the program coordinators, including Ln T G S Ponnambalam, MJF Ln Kirit V Shah, and the Lions Club of Coimbatore Jupiter, for their generous contributions and efforts.
